Tara & Rohan

Perched at eight thousand feet within the Binsar wildlife sanctuary, Tara and Rohan’s wedding felt less like an event and more like a mountain retreat with their closest circle. There were no plastic chairs or rigid itineraries — guests walked barefoot along needle-carpeted trails to an open meadow overlooking the distant Trishul peaks.

Their vows were spoken softly against the whistling cedar trees, followed by quiet tears, impromptu acoustic guitar chords by a crackling stone hearth, and warm spiced cider passed around wool shawls as the sun sank behind the snowline.

We were there to document the lingering looks, the wild mountain breeze catching Tara’s veil, and the unrestrained laughter around the bonfire late into the crisp mountain night. It was raw, honest, and unforgettable.
